I think that's the one I was thinking of! Thanks for saving me time trying to look it up...Club'nBabySeals said:The Pregnancy Calendar at iVillage is extremely helpful. It gives detailed information about what's going on every day up through your due date.

I keep forgetting how many moons ago I dealt with this topic... I had my first pregnancy 13 years ago... that book and layout style was groundbreaking at the time and I remember reading it cover to cover... but you are right in saying there are more useful and entertaining books available these days.BadGirl said:I loved "The Pregnancy Bible: Your Complete Guide to Pregnancy and Early Parenthood" by Joanne Stone and Keith Eddleman. Wonderfully written, with some stunning photographs.
But the books that had me laughing out loud were the ones by Vickie Iovine "Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy" and "Girlfriends Guide to Surviving the First Year of Motherhood" and "Girlfriends Guide to Baby Gear".
I didn't get a lot out of "What to Expect When Your Expecting". I thought the layout of the book was horrible, and the writing style droll.
Someone gave me "The Girlfriend's Guide to Toddlers" a couple years ago(mine is a wild child ), I wish I'd known about these books sooner, they're very informative, and funny too.BadGirl said:But the books that had me laughing out loud were the ones by Vickie Iovine "Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy" and "Girlfriends Guide to Surviving the First Year of Motherhood" and "Girlfriends Guide to Baby Gear".

Oh yeah...I bought my books off of eBay. Very cheap....maybe paid $1.37 for one of the books, and the others were pretty inexpensive, too. I didn't mind reading a "used" book.BadGirl said:I loved "The Pregnancy Bible: Your Complete Guide to Pregnancy and Early Parenthood" by Joanne Stone and Keith Eddleman.
