YES! The "girlfriends guide" is the best- ALSO- it doesnt scared the bejezuz outta you like "what to expect" likes to do. Like Geeze Louise said- it gives you the "bad scenario" on everything. And I really didnt like to think of the "bad" things while being pregnant. BAH!

I would definately go with the girlfriends guide- because it takes such a nonchalant approach and makes you crack up.

I'm in my last month and the first book I read was "The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy" and it was a hoot. I've just started "What to Expect: The First Year." I'm a little late getting prepared (school and work have kept me busy)for the actual arrival and what to do afterwards, but I have a great support team (mom, sister, MIL and friends) so I should be fine. We are signed up for the First Year class at SoMD Hospital, should I expect to learn plenty there?

Rocky Mountain High!!
I've sent along the website that tells him what it looks like at each stage (he LOVED that one  ) THANKS!! I'll send some other websites along for him tomorrow. I didn't want to overwhelm him. They lost a baby last month (very early miscarriage - darn those EPTs)
