Preschool Graduation

Yeah, okay.
I could see the point of it being monumental. In order to go to Pre-K in St. Mary's Public Schools, you have to be deemed as needy. Not saying the child it "dumb", but all the children are tested and it is decided then, if they go to Pre-K. It could be a speech problem, a handicap of some sort, the household income is too low, etc. Some children are told they are too "smart" and are turned away.

But still, I would just go to Target and get the pictures taken if it that is all the OP is looking for.

They could also enroll perfectly smart, capable children if they have a split family.

My Dad won't be around for his high school graduation. We will be lucky if he will be with us next year. He has cancer. That is why i am willing to make a big deal over it.

I was referring to Cowgirl's post about how many graduations kids have nowadays, not you wanting a picture in a cap and gown. Sorry if you thought I was implying that. :huggy: to you and your family. Sorry about your dad's poor health.

My oldest went to Ridge Elem for PK and K. They did cap and gown ceramonies for that. We are not in Calvert and they don't do anything like that for those ages.

The 2nd graders leaving PES do put on a little skit for everyone at the end of the year but it's not a graduation.

I didn't know this. That should be interesting.

It's ok. I just thought it would of been cheaper to have our own cap and gown since i have 2 kids.

My son has speech issues. He goes to the Judy center now and will be going to the pre-k program. They have done wonders for him.
