Whoa - just wait until January 2006, when the Part D benefit goes live!! All heck's gonna break loose.

Love the industry, hate the BS. Just my two cents.

What is the Part D Benefit?

Jersey attitude.
The Medicare Prescription Drug benefit. Part A is hospital, Part B is the physician/clinic/outpatient hospital stuff, Part C was the managed care thing (big flop), and so we're up to Part D.

I have also noticed some trends - emphasis on the word "I".

It seems that children are medicated sooner - asthma, ADD, etc.. then the teenagers and their allergies and acne... the twenties are, I guess, pretty painless? Mostly birth control type meds? Thirties, probably at least one chronic ailment - reflux? (too much coffee, too much stress), IBS? This continues into the forties... The fifties and sixties - not uncommon to discuss Viagra and HRT (hormone replacement therapy)...

Believe it or not, I am looking at this without negativity I am just kind of putting a mental map into words (not very good words, but words nonetheless)...

Any thoughts?
