Oh trust me, I'm waiting for the day Bush does something to get everyone excited. He just hasn't done that yet. He still has some time left to do so, so we can only hope.

Yes, you made a clear point.Holy crap! You've uncovered the truth! Call the Washington Post, the Washington Times, CNN, Fox News!! ST and Penn don't see things the same way! Wow, what a way to uncover that one! You should look into a job in investigative reporting, you have such an eye for things! Hell if we were playing football, i'd give you the game ball!

 Well that's way cool, ST! I was sure, given enough time, you'd eventually see the light.

It just takes some folks longer than others; but don't fret, you've made an initial step to the right!

So I guess all of the thousands that were killed or tortured in Iraq by that regime weren’t good people and they deserved what they got. That stopping this regime from threatening or attacking others was wrong and that making them comply with all the UN resolutions was wrong.

Funny, I don't remember this being a reason for us to invade Iraq. I thoud he had WMDs that he was going to use on the US. If we are going to start invading countries that threaten or attack others then we may as well just start training all our young people to be soliders cause there are a heck of lot more places we will be invading.

As for complying with UN resolutions, since when has that been our priority? I don't see the US enforcing some of the UN resolutions telling Israel to leave the West Bank?

You wouldn’t remember, but I understand that the cognitive powers of reason escape many in this nation and they do not understand the threat that Iraq posed to our security and the world as a whole.

Many of the tens of thousands of deaths were caused by WMD, Hussein used them against his own people as well as the Iranians. The torture of his populace was also well documented and several of the UN Resolutions spoke of these atrocities and condemned them, they are identified in Public Law 107-243, the authorization to use force against Iraq.

Well damn, we’ve been doing this for years and guess what? We don’t have mandatory service or even conscription at this time. If the threat was severe enough I am sure the Ready Reserve would be called up. Do you know who comprises the Ready Reserve?

It has always been a priority of ours when it suited our interests. Currently, and historically, it doesn’t suit our interests to force Israel to do anything. While I don’t agree with it, that is how it is. One day it might be in our interest to slap down Israel. If they keep assassinating Palestinians with weapons that cause collateral damage that day may come soon.
