Some people don't care about politics. Why waste their time voting if they are not educated about who they are choosing?

I understand where you're coming from. While I don't expect everyone to be into politics, I do see it as a responsiblity of citizenship to be informed and educated about issues and to vote.

You're right about the write-in but for someone to plain not vote? I see it as a responsibility for one to go vote. Even if they write-in their own name, that's better than staying home.

Why would someone waste their time going to the polls, waiting in line, just to write their own name? If you're going to throw away your vote, stay home so I can get done with my voting faster
