Has anyone tried this gas stablizer? I have about 75 gallons of old gas in my boat that has been sitting and I am thinking of adding this to it and see if the engines will run on it. Here is their claim

"PRI-G RESTORES STABILITY TO 15-YEAR OLD GAS

Not only does PRI-G enhanced fuel stability, it also restores aged fuel to usability! In the next test, we took 15-year old gasoline to show how PRI-G can actually restore the stability of old gasoline within acceptable levels. The 930 minute range will provide decent ignition quality with minimal deposits. Many fresh gasolines fall within this range."

I use sta-bil myself. When I bought this boat it had been sitting winterized for 4 years. I did not get a chance to put it in the water last year so I am hoping this spring I can start up the twin 350's and see what she will do in the water. I noticed the gas gauge was 3/4 full and I have no idea if the guy treated the gas. I am not sure how much varnish is in the tank now from unstable gas. I will go to Boaters world and pick up a bottle and give it a try.

Worth a try. A little Sta-Bil in the fall is always a good investment.

:yeahthat: I hope Pri-q works for you. Please give us an update when you do try it. My buddy and I are always coming across deals on old boats, but usually the disposal of old gas is the biggest pain.:yay:
