Because any time someone is different, they get ostracized and bullied. Having a pride week is a way of saying, "We are human beings and deserve to be treated with respect."
That said, gays aren't widely stigmatized in this day and age and have all the same rights as anyone else. There are always going to be people who hate someone because of something, that's just the way it is. But honestly, holding parades with half naked people simulating outside the norm sex practices probably isn't going to bring those folks around. All that does is alienate.
"We're gay and we're just like you! So we're going to dress in fetish gear and pretend to whip and have anal sex with each other and wave around giant rainbow dildos in front of children to prove it!"
In general I like "pride" weeks - for race, religion, sexual preference, whatever - but some of these folks' manner of expressing themselves is off-putting. There's a Jewish pride campaign that I've seen PSAs for and it's completely inoffensive and actually geared toward pride. Whoever is head of the gays' marketing really should take a look at that and put together a focus group. Have some dignity.

It's one thing to be thought a perverted sexual deviant that fellates another man's phallic then accepts the ejaculate as his reward. Or a man that sodomizes another man's anal cavity with his ejaculate and/or/in addition to licks and inserts his tongue into another man's anus. Or to be thought a mentally defective person that has her breasts cut off while pretending to be a man. Or being a man having their phallus cut off to then be formed into a vagina to pretend to be a woman. Or to be a women that lays with another woman strapping on a device that mimics the male phallus. Or thought to be suffering from any measure of what has now been labeled gender dysphoria, or gender identity disorder (GID), or by the international classification as gender incongruence (GI).
However. It's a whole other thing, to go out in public and to remove all doubt, any and all shreds of reasonable doubt, of one's perverted sexual deviancy's as well as to promote such depraved and sexual aberrant activities to other people by getting into their faces, by carrying signs and wearing nothing or nearly nothing, as well as exposing such behaviors to the very young ~ also known as grooming the young to fall into the trap of perversions that feeds into the deviant sick minds and insatiable needs and desires of the degenerate and sadistic reprobate perverts.
These people, these "activists", should be stigmatized at every opportunity and ostracized. Not by arguing with them or changeling them. But by simply ignoring them. It is not that people "hate" them because of their lifestyle choice. People do not want to be exposed to such behaviors nor want their children to be exposed to such trash and immoral behaviors.
Funny you mention the jews. It is this very group of people that promote and fund these abhorrent, abominable, detestable and repulsive behaviors via parades, drag story book hours and so forth. That's sure is one hell of a religion that trashes normal family values and instead actively promotes degenerate perversions and sadistic activities for one's fleeting pleasures.

mocked. The youngers might bully due to lack of understanding why someone wears something completely different from the norm. Those that take things to an extreme, (someone going completely goth), might be ostracized so one couldn't be associated with that person. It's how societies/civilizations have been over millennial. But the shite, the fagotry, the open and hostile perverted degeneracy's we have to deal with for the entire month of June, and every other and day month of the year needs to end. And ostracization is a good place to start. The acceptance of, and the constant debasement of moralities must end.
