This is not a virtual event, it's time to get outdoors. We are hosting Keith Grenoble, a well known primitive skills practitioner, at our farm in Leonardtown. Join Keith and discover the art of making prehistoric North American pottery replicas. Learn to find and work with clay, techniques for making a vessel, and how to dry your vessel and fire it in an open kiln!
June 5th and 6th: Workshop - learn to prepare clay and mold vessels using primitive techniques and tools.
June 12th: Shortly before sunset, fire the clay projects in a primitive kiln. Bring the marshmallows.
June 13: In the morning, come pick up your fired projects!
Limited enrollment.
