...strong thunderstorms to affect calvert county...

at 532 pm edt...doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm 3 miles
northwest of barstow...moving east at 10 mph.

this storm will be capable of producing small hail and wind gusts to
50 mph.

the communities of prince frederick and barstow will be affected by
this storm.

residents in these areas should remain alert in case warnings are
issued.

It's been thundering here for about 30 minutes, but the sun is still shining. It looks dark up towards Prince Frederick.

Red Zone. I can hear your thunder. Looks like one to the north of me and one to the south. We probably won't get any rain here.

My joints are usually my weather forecasters, I'm guessing we might get to hear alotta thunder, if it was darker, a nice lighting display, but I'm guessing next to no rain, joints feel fine.......

Nah..weird..we stopped in Ownings to drop off something and we came through the storm on Rte 4. We got to our house (3 miles off of 4, close to the Bay) and it was just sprinkling and hadn't rained much at all.

Sumer storms are so hit and miss. I really wish we would get some rain here and hopefully cool things down.
