Yup I am trying to get out as much as I can but its hard when you don't drive and depend on others. I now know there is a Mckays in leonardtown that is nice. I also know we got an arizona pizza and a few other new joints around here and also learned my favorite place closed up and went out of business (Nooks and Monks).

We have a nice lightening show over here near the island (Not solomons) I think its st georges but not sure as i just moved back to the area

Welcome back. :howdy:

Your area was my first discovery when I moved to SMC and Piney Point was like my finest treasure, I took everyone I brought down to the water there.

I found it one day when I was off from work and went to the Job Bank in Leonardtown and on my way back I decided to go see what Piney Point was and hit on Valley Lee and found Club Happyland. I new I was in the cawntry when I saw that building. Now that I have lived here 2.5yrs I realize it's not so cawntry. :ohwell:

Anyway, welcome back. :flowers:

I'm in the Mill Bridge/Coster area and haven't had anything here for about a half an hour now. No rain no nothing.

I love thunderstorms. The lightning was awesome but scary. A friend had their computer and cable cooked by a near strike. :frown:

And hindsight is 20/20 vision. :ohwell:

Actually, a UPS is worthless in a thunderstorm unless it has some sort of surge protection built in and even then they have been known to fail when you get a direct hit. I know - I've seen it up close. *POOF*
