Problem while installing new radio

just hooked up a new radio in the truck, radio came on after connecting all the power and ground wires, then one wire touched another while testing it, and now can't get it to come on again. Checked fuses to see if it blew a fuse, and all the fuses are good. Anyone good with car electronics and can give some advice?( I admittedly know nothing about any electronics)

When doing an install, the first thing you do is disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

Now you know something about car electronics :yay:

I've found that if I'm doing the install, it's a good idea to buy from Crutchfield.com
They provide any necessary adapters needed, detailed installation instructions (including how to dismantle your car) and have excellent tech support. Last time I installed a head unit, I experienced a similar problem, called them up and the said check the tail light fuse and that was the problem.

Thanks for the advice. Went back outside to get something and opened the door, and no light inside the truck. Found the courtesy light fuse is blown, and it has always worked before, so the accidental connection must have blown that fuse I guess, but don't understand how it could blow that fuse, when the light has nothing to do with the radio, but it must have. Really appreciate the advice. Will probably be calling crutchfield tomorrow now.
