Proud Auntie Jazz

My niece made the marching band for the University of Maryland. My sister and brother-in-law traveled to the game between them and Navy at Ravens Stadium, yesterday which Maryland won in the last few minutes of the game 23-20. It was her first half time show and according to sis they did wonderful.

She's trying out of the concert band next week, so keep your fingers crossed! She is a very talented musician and plays several instruments including the steel drums, but in the band she plays trumpet. I am so proud of her.

Thank you. She is so incredibly talented and excels at everything she does. Awesome student, very smart, great grades, and very level-headed. You can't ask for anything better for an 18 year old.

Thanks, she is very adorable and SO different than my daughter.

As for the tag game, I was still a bit sore this morning, not nearly as bad as I thought I was going to be though.

She's only a freshman but I can definitely see her getting a solo in the future! In fact, she does work on the side playing at weddings and other functions and is quite in demand.
