My kids go to SLES in Calvert. Both of them had the same type of progress report showing letter grades and the average at the bottom.

In Calvert hink that is the way all Elementary Schools are Daughter went to Dowell last year and that's the way it was.. now son and daughter are in Mill Creek Middle and get grades on interims.. promised them $$$$ for grades and the two of them are going to break me..KCM said:

yeah...my daughter will break the bank again this year too. I was so proud of her last year - she made the honor roll all for quarters and ended the year with a 4.0 GPA. Pretty darn good for her first year in Calvert Co. school systems. The school system in Allegany Co. is so far behind that I was afraid she would have a hard time catching up.

Aww...first grade....now that kiddo is a 6th grader, how time flies....
But on the upside her grades are still good, all honors classes and she has all A's and two B's (BOTH B's are 89s). So close to straight A's....But still so far away.
