Public Notification of Sewage Overflow in Prince Frederick

A Sanitary Sewer Overflow was reported to the Calvert County Department of Public Works, Water & Sewerage Division today, March 21, 2025. Flow was controlled with a pump truck and the area – a small portion of grassy road shoulder – was covered in lime. There was no release to bodies of water. The leak was located at 4590 Hallowing Point Road adjacent to the residential driveway on the Eastbound shoulder of the roadway. At no time was there an impact to service for water and sewer customers.
Signage will be posted at the treated area and it will be roped off accordingly. For questions, please contact the Department of Public Works, Water & Sewerage Division at 410-535-3491, or email WaterandSewerage@calvertcountymd.gov.
