Where can i get organic pull ups? My daughter seems to get rashes or a little irritated from huggie and pamper pull ups. I thought i would try organic ones and see if that helps.

I did a google search and couldn't find anything. Maybe one of the health stores have them? There's one in Leonardtown.

Use cloth, my daughter NEVER gets rashes. Pull ups are such a gimmick IMHO. I would go straight to underwear. Are you just starting to toilet train?

Ya, we started trying again. She is now telling me when she has too pee or poop. She also is finally waking up dry. She likes pull ups because it's like underwear. She still has accidents so i don't want to go straight to underwear. If it was summer i would that.

How about the thicker panties? Commonly referred to in the old days as "training pants" before pull ups.

Believe it or not, they still make them. I recently bought several pair within the last few months. Granted, she caught on so well with the potty training that I have several pair she's never even worn.

How old is she, and how big is she? (weight wise)

You could come by and we could all hang out :killingme:yahoo:
:frown: You know that can't happen after tomorrow.
She is 2 1/2. She weighs about 32 pounds.

mine was 2 in Jan, but she's tiny. She only weights 24.5 pounds.

If you want, you can have the training pants I have. She wore a few pair a couple of times and never wet or soiled them, so we went straight to regular panties.

the cloth training pants are good.I agree with morning bell that pull-ups are a bit of a gimmick. However I think it is worth it just to put on regular underwear and it may get messy for a couple of days and you will have a little extra washing but before you know it they will start using the potty as it is a yucky feeling to have accidents.
Maybe try a reward system too-prehaps a sticker (or whatever your child would like)each time they use potty.
I potty trained my last son in winter and it took 2 days of having a few accidents. Then a day of doing all his pee pee in the potty but not bowel movements-this is a common thing -some children get scared of doing bowel movements in potty but then after that he went to the potty each time and had dry underpants. I put a diaper on him the first time out but he waited to get home to use potty .
So sorry I am going on a bit but a couple of days mess is worth it.you try .I know all children are different but with all 3 of my children it was only a couple of days extra mess and washing.

Whatever you try good luck. I know you were just asking where you could find organic pull-ups but I thought my experience might be interesting to you.

Everyone has been helpful. My son was easy. She changed her mind all the time, but i think this time she is ready. We have the rubber mats on the floors and plastic underneath it so if she does pee its a easy clean up. I think i will try the cloth training pants. My son liked them but i can't find them. One good thing is she has no problem pooping in the potty. She hasn't pooped in her pants since sat. WOO HOO!

:yeah: :yahoo: :thewave:

you are half way there it seems.

Try K-mart for the training pants. That's where I got mine. I believe they are Gerber brand. Two to a pack, and they're a bit pricey, but not as pricey as Pull-ups

Correction: 3 to a pack and they're 7.49 a pack

Thanks but i think i am going to do the cloth training pants. Those pull ups eat her up. So far since saturday only used about 5 or 6 diapers. Saturday, sunday and monday i only used 2 diapers.
