Hey all! We're fairly new to the area and were wondering where the best places are to go pick pumpkins, especially for small children. I’ve seen a couple online...yes I can Google...but from personal experiences, what do you suggest?

THANKS!!!

Can't thnk of the name right off the top of my head but the farm in Benedict just on the Charles County side of the 231 bridge is good.

The Bowles farm on Rt 234. Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze. Forrest Hall Farm on Rt 5...same, plus a small petting zoo for kids and other things for them to do, and they have great apples this time of year.

Another vote for Serenity Farm in Benedict!

$10 per person and each person gets a pumpkin...and face painting is included in the price, along with the petting zoo and Kasper's Kastle. We have a whole group going this Sunday!

Been to Bowles farm before. It was an awesome experience. The petting zoo is pretty cool and they've also got a little playground area as well as a neat little store.

Ok, let me add to this. Is there place around where you can do all that plus go apple picking? Im in the mood for making apple pie, applebutter and applesauce...YUM! Do they still have a good thing at Annemarie Gardens? I use to go there when I was little but havent been in many moons.

I'm planning on taking the kids to Bowles this week-end and Casper's Castle the following week-end. Oldest son has a soccer game at Hallowing Point Park on the 18th so might as well hit Casper's too. They will enjoy both places.
