What do you consider a puppy? (age wise) and what exactly are you looking for?

There are MANY threads in this dog forum of dogs and pups needing to be adopted!

Here is a female mastiff mix under a year old looking to be adopted with Second Hope Rescue. She is not a Pit, Boxer, or a small dog..

Havoc is a gorgeous-ah I mean- very handsome fella. His face is so expressive; I think he should be in the movies!

And being so young perfect for training. He totally could be. How crazy would that be, right? Hmmm... makes me think of what my kitties could become! I'd never tried until this past year and a half to train my cats, it's so much easier than I thought. Just takes some time, effort, and mostly creativity. The hard part is figuring out how to help them figure out what I want them to do.

I'm stuck on stay. Anyone have tips for teaching stay? It would be so helpful at the vet.

He is turning 7. The 2 other kids are 9 and 11

That's great, I was afraid he was alot younger and a rambungous big young puppy would knock him down. Their are alot of dogs at Second Hope Rescue that you should come out and meet and see for yourself. Alot are already crate and potty trained, big plus less hassle for you, they need a good home and you need a good dog. It is worth a look, Peppers Pet Pantry in Solomons on Sunday and more at Pet Paradise on the same day on St Andrews Church road (MD. RT. 4) in Leonardtown.
