You can sue for defamation of character!!!

Mail is legally private. Other than routing to you, you should be only the person who saw it. Its only defamation of character if its on a more public basis. Unless you believe the mail yourself and have lost respect for you character over it. :lmao:

Army Vet Gets 'Bomber' Credit Card Offer

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050824...pwsQE4F;_ylu=X3oDMTBiMW04NW9mBHNlYwMlJVRPUCUl

CORONA, Calif. - The address was his, but the name on the credit-card offer took Sami Habbas by surprise: "Palestinian Bomber." "I thought it was a joke or something," said Habbas, 54, a Palestinian American who served in the U.S. Army.

Habbas opened the letter, and the salutation read "Dear Palestinian Bomber."

When he called the company, JPMorgan Chase & Co., provided his ZIP code and invitation number, two operators said to him: "Yes, Mr. Bomber, what can we do for you?"

"It's very upsetting," Habbas said. "I'm not what they are saying, a Palestinian bomber. That's uncalled for. I have a name. My name is Sami Habbas."

Bigotry and hate is alive and well.

Indeed, and I hope he plans to sue for this!!

It's people like yourself who are so quick to sue over every little thing that has made society the way it is today. So you hired a photographer and then changed your mind when you found a cheaper deal. Maybe you should have done some more shopping around prior to agreeing to hire the first one.

Well you would have to be more specific as to what your original contract was. Had you paid in full up front etc. Many times if you do cancel you lose your deposit or the right to a refund. Since the person you contracted obligated their services to you, only for you to dump them for someone else they might lose the chance to find another job to take the place of the one you backed out of.

Good point. It's much like making an appointment to visit your doctor; if you cancel within a certain timeframe prior to the appointment you still have to pay. This is why you are supposed to read a contract in full before signing -- including the fine print.

Like a joke I heard on Hannity the other day....

Why do brides always smile?

It's the last time they have to kiss their husband.

The real punchline to the joke is "Because she doesn't have to give any more BJs!"

You hired and paid for a photographer in February for a wedding in August? I might have waited to pay until a little closer to the wedding.

Yes, I must. I'm interested to know what sorts of crud are clogging our legal system. Since you are notoriously erratic, impulsive and feeble-minded, I would not be surprised in the least if your small claims case -- not to mention what else you have sued over -- turned out to be one such instance of aforementioned crud.

I have a feeling you often perceive yourself as being "used". And actually, I agree that you are ["used"], but not in the way you'd think.
