about a mile North of Rt 245.

You're moving? It is a different school district. I assume you want to stay at L Elem. Do you want an established house or to build? There's a new development on Rt 5 - Leonardtown Farms.

I was just thinking about it. He only has 1 more year at LES and the footprint for LMS is much larger.

I am not big on "developments". Especially ones where they clear out 700 acres and jam houses in with no trees.

They are planning on some mild resdistricting for LMS because its about 200 seats overfilled. Some will be moved to MBMS.
In 2 years three new schools will be built in Ltown as part of the deal Marrick made with the county in order to develop Clark's Rest. I don't think that will affect where you are now, just the folks between Loveville and the intersection of 5 and 245.
Just some things to think about if you've got your mind set on a particular high school.

Just some things to think about if you've got your mind set on a particular high school.

In 2 years they will start the 5 year process of building schools, Boy will be a junior in HS and I will be picking out the motorhome I will be taking to Arizona in the winter to live and play golf.
