We skipped the pullups when we were potty training, to me they did the same thing as the diaper:ohwell:

They are better after your two year old discovers that he can remove his diapers by tugging on those little strips.

Discovering a nekked baby first thing in the morning - or worse, one who has pulled his diaper off and out of his pajama bottoms - is unpleasant.

We just went through the same thing. Nothing worked until one day he decided he was ready, and now we only get an occasional accident. Our daughter was so much easier.

Could ya try and substitute the pacifier for a baby doll or bear? Maybe have a "special baby" when she isn't comfortable or scared so she can give up the pacifier.
That's a good idea. Maybe I'll get her something special for Christmas to try to replace it. She cries for it whenever she gets upset though! It's agony, I need to do something!

I can't imagine taking something comforting away from a sick kid. You don't need to do anything differently, at least as long as she is sick.

Awe, thanks, I think that is just what I needed to hear to tell you the truth. Sometimes you question your descisions with your kids, but I guess you should follow your instincts. I think I will do a mix of both. Limit it for situations when she is simply fussing, but let her have it in more serious times.

If you think the pacifier is bad, why would you want the child sucking on a doll or a bear??
