It all started with a question to John McCain, a throw-away question like everyone else gets asked, whether it's a feasible possiblity or not. It tickles the libs to think maybe John Kerry would go bi-partisan for a VP but it's not gonna happen. Kerry is one of the biggest partisans in the Senate and you can be damn sure he's not going to get ANYONE - not a cabinet member, not a judge, and especially not a VP - from outside his party.

That 'D' is their brand name. It would be like Coca Cola advertising for Pepsi. Not gonna happen.

Vrai -- it does not tickle this solid dem at all that he would go bi-partisian even the thought makes me:barf:

Not a chance.

If he picks Kennedy, Bush will come down on them like the hammer of the gods, and Chappaquiddick will once again be headline news.

This election is going to be ugly enough.

Personally, I'm not impressed with the "ugliness factor" of the election so far. Kerry has been pretty ugly - "crooks and liars", paying 9-11 widows to talk smack about Bush, etc - but I'd like to see him get REALLY ugly.

I want to hear about how Bush stole the election, not only from Gore but from McCain in the primary.

I want to hear more about disenfranchised Florida voters (who then re-elected Jeb Bush by a landslide).

I want him to keep bringing up Bush's Nat Guard service.

I want him to hire Skinner at the DU to be his campaign manager.

No...wait...$200.

What's the legal limit? I'll donate $2,000 to their campaign if he picks Ted Kennedy and Ted accepts.

FLo...

...this made me think about it, really, think about it.

Why give money to Bush among the flood he's already getting and be a small voice in a large crowd shouting the same damn thing?

I say shape things from the other end. I can have far greater impact by goading Kerry into choosing Kennedy.

Kerry's office on mail day: "Sen. Kerry! Right wing nut job Gude has sent money imploring you to choose Ted!"

Kerry: "They must finally be getting my message! Get Teddy on the phone! Even die hard Republicans are obviously liking me better then George! They are getting the message!"

Yep, Senator. Anything to help.
