When you start thinking it's time to move on from something, how long do you give it before you actually walk away? Sleep on it? Give it a week? Walk right then and there?

Just curious....

I don't deal well with change. When I sign on for something, I like that thing to stay what I agreed to. When it morphs into something I'd have never even considered, I feel used and lied to. Sold a bill of goods. And I don't think very highly of the person who lied to me to reel me in.

So how long would you give it?

Once I make up my mind on anything..... get out of my way. This has served me well my whole life.

A few decades or so.

I hold on to things like I’ve adopted a cat. I feel that I’ve taken on a responsibility and can never leave it except by death. The situation may make me miserable for years and decades, but it’s my cross to carry. God I hope you aren’t like me, have fun while you can.

Also don't like change, and I'm typically an optimist. Hang out waiting, hoping things might change. Never does, and eventually some event forces me to make a change. After that, I always wonder why I waited so long.
Been there.

I look in the mirror and try to tell myself what is the reason for hanging ion. Sort of like a sales pitch. I usually don't convince that person in the mirror, so I change.
