HEY JEEPS!! what was the deal with the 21 years and 21 days or whatever that deal was in those movies.... is that a reference to something historical, mathmatical, or just a made up sequence?

The monster could only come out to feed every 23rd spring.....It ate the people that had to most usefull body parts. Thats all I got from it, They were supid movies if ya ask me.

na.it's just made up.....unforyunatly!!....actually it is 23 years and 23 days, and the first one was set like that coz, they didnt want a sequal, he imerges from the ground every 23 days and eats for 23 days! an easy loophole in the rule for the sequel: set it during the same 23 days as the first movie. So this film is set on the 23rd day for the purpose of not making another sequel.
