Rain Gear?

Okay... I know I'm an idiot... My wife has already said that this morning... twice... :killingme

I'm sitting in annapolis, soaked to the bone because yet another set of rain gear has failed... Does ANYONE have rain gear that doesn't fail after 3 or 4 storms? Looking for suggestions (other than to cage!)... I swear I've tried them all (except HD... that price is offensive!)...

On the bright side, I'd like to thank all the cagers going up Rt 2 this morning in the storm... That is the most polite and considerate I've ever seen that route... :buddies:

How did the sizing on those work out for you. As I recall, you and I were sort of a size, with a slight height difference:)

Have you tried frogg toggs? I rode from Baltimore to Waldorf this morning in pouring rain. I'm bone dry.

My FT boot covers came from Amazon today so now I have a neck to toe set. Let it rain, let it rain

I wear a one piece BMW rain suit, no seams to leak, and they are only $99.. I had two at one time, one for the bike and one for working on the house in the rain, or working in a flooded crawl space.

got my frogg toggs... haven't hit rain for the ride in yet....

you guys are giving me a complex... lol... i have no idea why my gear fails so often... one of my buds has the same issue.. he just bought the ones from the new cycle accessory place up in laurel...

I stopped an MSP motor cop at HD last week and asked him what they wear... He told me doesn't matter... after awhile theirs fails as well.... lol

Keep your FTs away from your pipes or they will melt.
Depending on your style of bike, your pegs may be close to the pipes. Not an issue for me, but others have said that they melted theirs pretty easily.
