:fixed:

I'm sorry to see it go, IF it goes.. but if you can't run a business this is what happens..

I'm REALLY going to miss the fried chicken..

I'm heading there right now, I'll let everybody know if they are still open. :howdy:

I'll steer clear of the egg salad.

I worked there years ago when it was still "Raley's". Loved it. Great food and great people. I've been there since the ownership switch took place and the food was still great. I loved their mac and potato salad. :yum:

This is really a weird case, because if you look at the court docs, it says the big judgements were vacated. Am I reading that right?

Anyway, if you take things a step further and go here:

Taxpayer Services

You'll find that the business appears to have always remained in Raley's name.

Ever weirder, if you do a business license/charter search for G M Cycles, GM Cycles, or even G.M Cycles, it returns that no such thing exists?

Good info on the site..Finally a post that isnt about the mortgage industry :starcat:

Had you thought of relieving yourself before you went shopping? Honestly though as many unusual people that live and or visit down here I would use a bush before I would provide a public restroom.

On a funny note my daughter were there today and the porta loo was a desegrated mess in a pile on the side lawn.

They have a restroom but not for public use.

That happens quite often. Seems the local teenagers have nothing better to do than destroy property.

It's a shame that Raley's has gone down hill since the other people took it over...It was the best store around..I won't even go in there now it's so nasty....

Exactly what is so nasty about it? I go in there almost daily and haven't noticed anything "nasty". And YES, I have been in there when the Raley's owned it.

I hit that store at least 4 times a week. I do admit that the meat department was better 6-7 yrs ago, but I just am a bit more choosy when picking them out now. I think the greatest part about Raley's is that when you go in you always see at least 10-20 people that you know. If the store were to close I beleive it would be a great loss to many folks.:coffee:

I have shopped at Raley's as long as I can remember. Even when they were in the original building, I'm from Ridge. I grew up with Ray & Danny. The meaning of nasty is that when Ray and family ran the store the floors were clean ,shinning, the store didn't stinkand you got good fresh meat. Now you go in there and it looks like hell. We have gotten bad meat there on too occasions and the staff that works there now can't even say thanks have a good day.

I have heard many of the locals talk bad about the business now....And I can't much blame them..Even the legion that use to buy all the meat for the turkey shoot there doesn't deal with them anymore......
