It looks like a bunch of "underprivileged kids" from Bowie and neighboring holes, (hoods, whatever) are flying to Paris to study "Black Studies"... okay.... I wonder where those funds came from... I'll ax the Governor....

That MS-13 Lord from Murlin, sent to El Salvadore, is in a detention center of that Country ... looks like they wont give him back...maybe he's in trouble THERE too...

Oh, its Emancipation Day in DC.... go ahead you honkies, volunteer to be a slave for a day in Southeast to show your white shame....

Curious - where did you get that information - googled it but I guess I'm asking all the wrong questions. I wondered why Paris and it's kind of an interesting history that dates back to WWI. At any rate, I really don't see what's wrong studying the history of people that look like you. Don't we kind of do the same thing when we retrace our roots?

Don't we kind of do the same thing when we retrace our roots? We do...at our OWN expense...unless, of course, you can get someone else to SPONSOR it, and it's NOT the taxpayers...we pay for enough stuff. This is above & beyond what we should be paying for...
Curious...why did you skip over the wondering part? You know....WHO'S paying for it...

Hence the reason I asked Greg for his source. It's a little difficult to find out who's paying for it if you don't have the initial information. That's what I googled and could not find.

I just did a search for "black studies in Paris"

The Department of African and African American Studies (AAAS) offers an FSP in Paris, France, entitled Afro/Black Paris: The African Diaspora in the City of Light.

Interesting...

"Are African Americans welcome in Paris?"

"France has historically been described as a "haven" for Africans, having officially declared itself a colorblind society following the abolition of slavery in 1794. Africans have migrated to France since the 19th century, often to escape the prevalent racism in the United States."
