Sonsie
The mighty Al-Sonsie!
That was always my impression as well - that you're safer with your male military co-workers than you are with your civilian ones.
Leftist ignorami who have never been associated with the military in any way, and don't even know any military personnel, always get these strange ideas that enlisted men are these social reject savages who can't speak in complete sentences. So they make up these crazy stories about rape, murder, mutilation and puppy killing because that's what they think these guys do.
Yet these are also the people who have candlelight vigils for Tookie, Mumia and other REAL violent criminals.
Go figure.
I always felt safer with fellow military members. We were like a family, especially overseas, we looked out for each other. There were jerks and oddballs but they didn't usually last very long or stay in. On more than a few occasions I stepped in to drag some of our younger troops away from fights or possible bad situations. Usually just a few words and pouring them in a cab would do the trick. It got me swore and shoved a few times but usually they thanked me come Monday morning.
