Rashida Tlaid Opens Her Mouth ....

Speaker Kevin McCarthy made an eleventh-hour boss move on Tuesday evening, shutting down an anti-Semitic event scheduled in the Capitol Building hosted by Rep. Rashida Tlaib.

Tlaib had planned to mark the “Nakba,” which is the Palestinian word for expressing that the Jewish state of Israel’s creation was a “catastrophe.” Reportedly, various anti-Isreal groups were to be in attendance, including some that had previous ties to terrorism.

In the week prior, Tlaib had been ranting and raving on social media, claiming that “Nakba continues to this day.” She also reiterated her misleading claim that Israel is an “apartheid state” despite the fact that Arabs make up around 20 percent of the country’s population and enjoy full rights.

'Squad' member Rashida Tlaib urges eco-zealots to be 'much more aggressive' in a secret pep talk ahead of their summer of blocking highways and vandalizing art galleries

  • 'Direct action gets the goods,' congresswoman Tlaib told the activists
  • They're planning a chaotic summer of protests like those seen in Europe
  • Declare Emergency organizer wants 'whatever causes the most kerfuffle'
  • Read our exclusive about the activists' plans for Washington and NYC in August

Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has urged climate activists to be 'much more aggressive' as they plan a campaign of blocking highways and chaotic protests later this summer, DailyMail.com can reveal.

DailyMail.com gained access to private talks in which Tlaib, a member of Congress's leftist 'Squad,' gave a pep talk to some 125 hardliners from Climate Defiance, Declare Emergency and other environmental groups.

The activists have already blocked US highways, vandalized an artwork in Washington, and heckled politicians at speaking engagements. They're understood to be plotting much larger European-style climate protests later this summer.

'We have to be much more aggressive in regard to fossil fuel expansions,' Tlaib, a Detroit Democrat, told the online gathering.

'Squad' Democrat strategizes with radical left-wing group whose members are under FBI investigation

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., has been accused of racism and anti-Semitism for a number of comments that were largely defended by liberal media outlets.
Progressive Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., participated in a strategy call with a climate alarmist group currently under FBI investigation.

Tlaib, a far-left member of the "Squad," joined a Zoom meeting last Sunday organized by three radical environmental groups — Declare Emergency, Climate Defiance and the Climate Emergency Fund — about their future plans to disrupt climate change.

"We are reaching climate tipping points faster than predicted," the call description read. "Fires, smoke, tornadoes, and unprecedented weather events are becoming commonplace as we experience climate breakdown. We cannot afford to wait a minute longer. Complacency is a luxury we choose to enjoy at our own peril."

The main focus of the call was to "galvanize the activist community," according to a spokesperson for the Climate Emergency Fund.

The spokesperson noted in a statement to Fox News Digital that Tlaib "has no official connection to any of the groups on the zoom."

"America has a long tradition of non-violent protest that is an important part of our democracy," the spokesperson told Fox News Digital. "While the congresswoman has no official connection to any of the groups on the zoom, she is alarmed by the rapid changes to our climate. All Americans need to be using our voices to demand action."

Two members of Declare Emergency, a group that joined Tlaib on Sunday's call, are under investigation by the FBI’s Art Crime Team after vandalizing the protective box around Edgar Degas’ "Little Dancer Aged Fourteen" statue at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., in April. The FBI confirmed to Fox News Digital that the group was under investigation, but did not respond to a question about Tlaib being on the Zoom call.

The shocking protest caused $2,400 in damage and forced staff to remove "Little Dancer" from the gallery for 10 days in order to repair the display. The demonstrators, Timothy Martin of North Carolina and Joanna Smith of New York, will face up to five years in prison and a maximum $250,000 fine.

Martin and Smith were indicted for conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States and injury to a National Gallery of Art exhibit on May 26. A court will determine their sentencing based on the advisory sentencing guidelines and other statutory factors, according to a U.S. Attorney Office’s news release.

Tlaib Breaks Silence On Hamas Attack On Israel, Blames ‘Apartheid System’

Tlaib has long faced backlash over past comments about Israel and the Palestinians but has also received praise from some — including President Joe Biden, who said he admired her “passion” during a 2021 speech in Michigan. Her statement on Sunday drew a familiar wave of condemnation from the GOP side.

The National Republican Congressional Committee responded with a post to X that said, “Extreme House Democrats – including their leader, Antisemite sympathizer [Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY)] – can either condemn this Antisemitic victim-blaming or agree with it.”

Jeremy Redfern, press secretary to Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis (who is running for president), said, “The last sentence is probably the worst part. Essentially, she’s saying that the murdering of Jews will continue until the US stops supporting Israel.”

Many U.S. leaders have issued statements condemning Hamas and expressing support for Israel as it goes to war. Among them was Jeffries, who said the Congress “must stand with Israel until the invasion by Hamas has been crushed and security in Southern Israel and throughout the country has been permanently restored.”

Victim blaming. This is there MO. "We grieve the loss of life, and condemn the attacks, BUT......." and then they turn it all around to say it was all Israel's fault. People recognize it for what it is.

There will always be people who will take the side of terrorists and barbarians because it draws attention and it carries zero risk. It’s cowardice because if there was the tiniest chance of violent retaliation for taking such a position, you’d never hear of it.

I remember when Canada’s Chretien said after 9/11 that America had it coming. Because taking a stand against terrorists might mean, he’d be next.

Israel war: Tlaib still has a Palestinian flag hanging outside her House office

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) still has a Palestinian flag hanging outside of her House office after the invasion of Israel by Hamas, during which hundreds of Israelis and some Americans were killed.

Over the weekend, Hamas, a Palestinian militia group whose mission is to destroy Israel, invaded Israel and bombarded the country with missiles.

The surprise attack killed at least 600 Israelis and left 2,000 wounded. It is reported that at least nine Americans have also been killed. The Israeli counterattack in Gaza and at Hamas structures has left 313 Palestinians dead and 1,990 wounded, with the fatalities expected to increase on both sides.

I've been saying for years now that we need to send her to the Gaza to continue her "activism" where it'll do the most good.

Tlaib Lashes Out After Refusing To Condemn Beheadings Of Israeli Babies: My Critics Are ‘Bigoted’

“I do not support the targeting and killing of civilians, whether in Israel or Palestine,” Tlaib claimed on Wednesday. “The fact that some have suggested otherwise is offensive and rooted in bigoted assumptions about my faith and ethnicity.”

No, they suggested that because when asked, you kept silent and walked away. You could have stopped and said. "I abhor the targeting of civilians in this conflict". But you didnt.
