She doesn't even give my cat a second glance!
You're kidding! :yikes: Mine hates cats. And I've got at least 10-20 in the neighborhood. And a Rat Terrier is almost as fast as a cat. I know mine has cornered a few in the yard, but of course the cat climbs the fence and leaves her standing there barking. Don't know what I'm going to do when she dies. Guess every cat around will be using my flower beds as their personal bathroom. And Rat Terriers can be mean when it comes to cats, etc. Mine older one killed a cat and quite a few rabbits. They were originally bread to kill rats.

You Chi is a cute little guy but I do believe he's mixed with the Rat Terrier. I own 4 Chihuahua's and with yours it's the nose that gives it away.

Really? Mine loves to play with the cat, but I understand there was a big kitty at her former home.

Mine is also terrified of mice. When one got in this winter she leapt onto the couch quicker than my daughter. Kitty got it though, so all was good.

Anyone own a Rat Terrier? I just adopted a 6 y/o female from Tri-County. She's very sweet and completely house broken...no bad habits that I've seen yet BUT she is very apprehensive of people.
Thank you for giving the lil rascal a forever home! :huggy:

THANKS! I'm so happy I adopted her. I've never adopted before, always bought dogs and had heard to many BAD stories about getting a dog from the "pound" and an older one at that! I just couldn't help myself, she was so sad there and her days were numbered!

I was worried about the Cat thing at first but she just doesn't care. When the cat came to check her out she gave a little growl and he moved on, so I guess they have an unspoken agreement! Ha!
