I'm pretty active and for my age and have always thought I was fairly healthy. However, back in January I decided that I had packed on a few more pounds than I was comfortable with and decided to take action. Not a New Years resolution, but just time to get on with it. At this point I was at 237 had had a goal of 210.
Starting weight on 1/12/12 was 237.2
I started eating better and exercising more, made steady progress and it paid off.
4/16/12: 213.8
Then we went on vacation and things went to hell. I ate a lot of not so good stuff and drank waaayyyyy too much beer and fell off of my healthy wagon, quit caring about what I ate and almost never worked out.
8/14/12: 227.4 I had put nearly 14 pounds BACK ON!!!
That is when I got back in the game and took action. I have been eating much better (not starving myself by any means) and been very dedicated to my exercise (not obsessed with it) and it has paid off.
9/12/12: 208.0
I feel better, I sleep better (no snoring per wife), I'm running MUCH better and overall very happy with the results.
What time does Chic Fil A open???
