Real Feel Temps

With the heat and real feel numbers up there the next few days, I was wondering how to calculate the Real Feel.

Piece o' cake. This is the Excel-ready equation, where A1 is the temperature and A2 is the relative humidity, measured at a height of 5 feet (average height of a face).

Code:
=ROUND(16.923+((1.85212*(10^-1))*A2)+(5.37941*B2)-((1.00254*(10^-1))*A2*B2)+
(9.41695*(10^-3)*(A2^2))+(7.28898*(10^-3)*(B2^2))+(3.45372*(10^-4)*(A2^2)*B2)-
(8.14971*(10^-4)*A2*(B2^2))+(1.02102*(10^-5)*(A2^2)*(B2^2))-(3.8646*(10^-5)*(A2^3))+
(2.91583*(10^-5)*(B2^3))+(1.42721*(10^-6)*(A2^3)*B2)+(1.97483*(10^-7)*A2*(B2^3))-
(2.18429*(10^-8)*(A2^3)*(B2^2))+(8.43296*(10^-10)*(A2^2)*(B2^3))-(4.81975*(10^-11)*(A2^3)*(B2^3)),0)

Yes, it is stifling hot here. I grew up in NOLA where these conditions were common. Humidity is the monster. If you live around large amounts of water, this is what happens. That has nothing to do with global warming. Just want to hedge off the global warming maniacs. When I was in school, all us girlfriends would ask each other...is my hair frizzy, and is my back wet? We lied to each other... you look great! I lived in Mobile for a time, too, in a turn of the century house without a/c. I was used to it, but now, all these years later, not so much. I heard there was a swamp, nearby. Enjoy your 60 degrees.

They closed the pool yesterday @ 10 am for lap swimming 95 water temp isn't healthy for exercise.

Not refreshing at all, and you start to get into problems with water contamination at that temp.

Just got back from a trip to the store. Getting toasty out there.

You can play just get yourself ready ie hydrated, and continue to do so. Take breaks inside etc. Yeah this coming from a person at a keyboard.....

Currently 96* and 72% humidity. Can someone plug that into their gizmo and tell me if it is margarita time or not?

Well using this GIZMO you should just shoot yourself and be done with it. It calculates to 129*

yup sounds about right. My weather system gives two different numbers - the "heat index" and the "feels like" index which calculates wind speed in the equation.

I never realized those two terms meant different things. LSNED.

My apps show 96/105 RF and 93/106 RF. Neither app shows heat index, which I now know is not the same.
