OH yeah, bogus. Hover over the www.paypal.com link (don't click) and look at the status line at the bottom of your browser. No doubt it really isn't PayPal.

Thanks!

I did indeed do the hover thing and saw what you are referring to. Learned a while back, "Click-it and regret-it".

This account is fairly new, how'd these &*^%^%'s get my email already?

:banghead:

Some programs will run the list from A to Z and all words in between to hit on emails..that and spammers buy/sell accounts.
I have one email for known people and one I use fo spam and I change it on a regular basis.
Helps to keep the spam down to 4 a day, if that many.

an email like "email4me2@xyz.com helps..toss in a few numbers and that will make it harder for spammers to discover your email address.

Done and Thank-You!
Paypal confirmed it was a "phising e-mail" and encouraged all to forward suspicious e-mails of this sort.

I get a few of those each month, I do have a paypal account but paypal almost never contacts you.

When they have wanted contact in someway the e-mail always directs me to go to the paypal website and make contact through that, never click links.
