Yeah, because they buy loopholes from D's and R's and their staffers who write the loopholes in for them. So, by your own reasoning, using G. W. Bush himself, it is pointless to raise taxes on the rich.
So, here the left is, arguing for something that doesn't matter, wasting their political capital to the tune of a profound mid term wipe out and wasting everyone else's time including those long hurting for jobs, for stability in housing, for tax cuts, all things the potus has yet to find time to bother with.
Why is it so important to pursue something you state yourself is a waste of time? What do you get out of it? Other that losing the House?
