Recommendations for Carpet Installation

We need to replace the carpet in three bedrooms and on our stairs. Anyone have any recommendations on who to use?

Surprisingly, we used Lowes. I had no intention of using them, but agreed to check them out in order to please the Mrs. Got there and spoke to a very helpful gent named Densil. Ended up buying from them and they set up installation through an independent outfit our of Waldorf...who we were also very pleased with. Good experience.

I need new carpeting as well. I sent for information through Costco. I have not received a call back but it said it could take 2 business days.

We used Floor Systems in Huntingtown, both when we first moved here 4 years ago and again a few months ago for an insurance claim. They were great to deal with. Not sure how their prices compare with Lowes, Costco or Empire but they were more reasonable than another local store here in Calvert and we were impressed with the selection. Not sure where the OP is located.

We just had our entire house done by Empire. We paid $5300 for carpet and laminate. Our house is 2300 sqft. You can definitely negotiate the price. They were very nice and did a great job on the installation. I love the way it all turned out. Good luck with whomever you choose!

Jimmy Reed "Carpet and Flooring". Does a great job and will work with you. Did a great job on our townhouse for carpets and floors. Also does other work to if that helps. Local Person here in St Mary's.
