Christmas movie with the Rock saving Christmas. Free with Amazon Prime. I recommend it.

We liked it.
Spoilers? The Rock's character carries a device which turns a toy "real" - so a toy sports car becomes a real car - and (spoiler alert) in one scene, he animates Rock'M Sock'm Robots to help them in a fight. My youngest had never seen them, even though wife and I are laughing pretty hard.
So youngest is getting them for Christmas - well - as a gag - she's 15 and won't play with them.

You may be surprised. We did a fundraiser years ago and had a Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots tournament, it was very popular.
Hard to believe that tiny girl is 15 now. Yikes.

And she's actually turning rather pretty - and that's not a dad's bias.
What scares me is in the spring - when she wants to DRIVE.

Yes, but they are trash now. Have bought two for extended family kiddos and they apparently break right away, literally fall apart.

Needed to be in great shape for that since the rink was about 105 degrees for that tournament.
True. Cheap toys of decades ago were of a better quality than today's stuff. I would bet if you find a set from the 60's or 70's it still works today.
Agreed. I bought them KNOWING they were only good for a couple days. It was a gag gift.
