It is tacky. It is low rent. And of course that means it will continue to be done. I never give a gift from a registered store. I give them something from me---not the store and there's a big difference. This entire episode is sickening and tasteless.

CG, registering for a wedding gift (or first baby if that occurs :whistle:) is perfectly acceptable, and usually very much appreciated by the people who want to get you both something that's both needed and appreciated as you embark on this new journey together. If that's a honeymoon, then so be it...as long as that website has the capability to help you track who gave you what so that you can write your thank you cards accordingly.

Yep, it tracks them so we can write TYNs.


Oh, and :smack:. That was for the baby comment. :smile:

if you are gonna register both @ a Honeymoon type place and a store I highly reccomend registering @ Williams & Sonoma :high5:
