reliable wheel alignment shop

Does anyone have recommendations for a good wheel alignment shop? I have been to tires plus, southern auto, and curtis tire so far and they all said their machines will damage my rims. I have a set of aftermarket wheels that must have a high potential to be damaged by their machines. I'm hoping to find a competent shop that someone recommends. Then I'm going to take the car there and see if they can use little strips of rubber to lessen the damage/scratches their machine may cause.

If you know of any shop or even someone who works at a shop I can trust, please let me know.

I'm willing to drive an hour or so

Thanks for the help
Dan

PS.
I have also tried raleys alignment shop. He said he woudn't damage the rims but he can only do a two wheel alignment. After doing a little internet research it seems a 4 wheel alignment is what my car needs.

Do you mean Southern Tire? As in the Millison Plaza in Lexington Park? I've had a full 4-wheel alignment done there, and they bolt the device to the wheel lugs. I trust the guys there, never did me wrong.

I kinda have the same problem as you. I have a F-350 lifted 8" with 37's. I have to go to the FORD dealerhsip and "rent" a set of stock wheels and tires. Then drive he silly looking thing to the shop of my choice and have the alignment done.
See if you cant find someone with an extra set of stock wheels and tires and then take your pick from the plethra of alignment shops...2wheel or 4 wheel alignment.
This will set you straight...no pun intended, without damaging your bling. Trust me I KNOW how much bling cost!!

Raleys

I swear by Raleys on rt 5. They did my Camaro when I dropped the front end 2 inches and two years later its still tracking perfectly. He went to great lengths to explain all kinds of details that he really didn't have to. Have taken other people there for their cars and they seem very satisfied.

Hodges & Mattingly Tire and Auto on Commerce Ave (off of Airport View Rd) does great work. They are fast, honest, reasonably priced, and they know what they are doing. They will do for you what other shops say they can't.

Try Big Ed's in Leonardtown. Took my car to many places always had a shake. Big Ed's aligned my car and the shake is gone, first time in 15 years.
