It was a joke, but even so your intepretation of image and likeness is childish and silly not to mention unreasonable and if I dare so unscriptural.
I quoted scripture. I didn't see any Biblical quotes in your posts.

It's interesting how you resort to calling me satan when backed into a corner. I'll should tell you how I came by my forum nickname but I'll save that for another day.
You are the one that chose the name. I just point out that what you post is mostly distraction from proclaiming the gospel and winning souls to God's kingdom.

What you fail to realize is that Catholicism is not all about the pope. In fact, I'd venture to say that it's Protestants who make it all about the pope. All Catholics are Christians; Catholics were the first Christians. If you follow Jesus with any intellectual honesty then you follow the Apostolic faith that Jesus set out for you whether you like everything about it or not. Why? Because it's about Jesus and what He wants not you and what you want.
I know that Catholicism is not about the pope. I think many Catholics seem to proclaim the pope and Catholicism instead of Jesus. Most, maybe all, of what I have seen you post is about defending the pope or trying to convince everyone that only Catholics are right and nothing about proclaiming Jesus as Savior and Lord for all mankind. I do not believe all Catholics are Christians just as all Protestants are not Christians. There are probably a lot of pew riders in all churches, but I am not the judge of a persons heart. God knows and will cull His flock in time.

And, yes, the Popes are sinners just like the rest of us, none of them would have denied it nor would I. Your statement makes it clear that you misunderstand what infallibility means, and that's ok a lot of people do. Would you like me to explain it to you so you will have a proper understanding, or would you prefer to remain ignorant? Your choice.
I think I have it.
The First Vatican Council wast the first to declare, "It is a dogma divinely revealed: that the Roman Pontiff when he speaks ex cathedra, that is, when acting in the office of shepherd and teacher of all Christians, he defines, by virtue of his supreme apostolic authority, doctrine concerning faith and morals to be held by the universal Church, possesses through the divine assistance promised to him the person of St. Peter, the infallibility with which the divine Redeemer willed his church to be endowed in defining doctrine concerning faith or morals; and that such definitions are therefore irreformable of themselves, and not from the consent of the Church." - Dogmatic Constitution I on the Church of Christ, iv
I would really prefer not to engage in bashing and defending any human organization. It is a complete distraction from Jesus. Every time we engage in this, satan wins. People who are not Christians are turned off and rightly so. We become exactly what we should not be; detractors from Christ instead of proclaimers of the gospel.
