My husband and I moved here from Pa, and the schools are better over in Calvert. I used to live here, and went to St. Mary's schools and they are horrible. Calvert schools seem to offer more not only in class but after school as well. Unlike the schools in Pa, they will push the kids to learn if you want it that way, they are not afaid to teach.

Hi, I just caught the comment about St. Mary's not offering the AP classess. We have been thinking of moving from Waldorf to St. Mary's or Calvert. Is it true? Anyone know if Calvert offers them. Son is in AP now and nephews took many AP classess that VA Tech gave them credit for all.
Thanks

So you mean it would take you 45 minutes to get from the light at 231/4 to Waldorf?

From lexington park (gate 2 of the base) it takes 45 minutes to waldorf. Hell it takes 15 minutes to get to the intersection of 235 and 4

Of course they offer AP classes, here's a link for the Leonardtown AP offerings. Can't imagine Calvert not offering the same.
