I remember buying cigarettes at the local 7-11 for .65/pack.

I also remember 7-11's Sanditos. Oh my. :yum:

I could go in there, buy my smokes, nuke and inhale my Sandito, pop a quarter into the PacMan machine, buy a pair of No-Nonsense pantyhose, and wait for the bus to take me to my part-time job at Hechts.

Life was so carefree at age 16.

I remember that price for cigarettes also. I don't remember what a Sandito is though and I lived right by a 7-11 and went there almost daily. Must be the age factor working. :lmao:

Greatest American Hero

What was the show about the lost dog named Joe?

BJ and the Bear
Umm, Greatest American Hero was the regular dude that turned into a superhero. Didn't he have like a regular grandfather type person that helped him do right? Maybe I'm crazy. He had blonde curly hair (The Hero, not the grandpa).

I think you are talking about Shazaam!

He had his "mentor", and they toured the country on "the highways and byways".

At the same time was Isis.

They played it all weekend that weekend 98.3 or whatever it is switched over to something equally as sucky.
