... to never go out into town on a weekend. What an f'ing zoo. Seems everyone loses the ability to drive, and it carries over into the stores. People would prefer to run you over rather than be polite. Almost got run over twice walking from the car to the store by people who just don't look before pulling out of their space. One guy in a truck was holding up traffic on the side road by MOD pizza, then decides to pull a u-turn in the middle of that lane.

And now a helo is flying low over 235 again. Another accident?

I’m not surprised.

Yesterday I had two separate instances where someone stopped in the middle of Sandgates Road, trying to decide what they were going to do next.

Guess they figure it’s THEIR world.

Going into Walmart this morning some rere decides to stop and wave other traffic through, incoming traffic isn't supposed to stop. They almost got cross traffic hit because someone got impatient and went around almost hitting the guy that actually had the stop sign.

I stop in the middle of the road all the time to talk to someone I know coming the other way. That's the way it has always been done in SMC! Damn come-heres.
But is there a car there? Had one in park hall the other day just sitting on 5 not moving.

Why do people stop after pulling in a parking lot? You've been here dozens of times, move!! Sitting there behind them with my butt out in traffic.

Damn, I sure as Hell don't miss any of that stuff. Maybe get you a junkyard truck, a 6X6 locust post for a bumper and move them.

I hate 235 with a passion. Doesn't matter the time of day. People drive like lunatics. Unfortunately for me it's my only way out. Weekends I stay home. Best time to venture out is about 9 to 10 weekdays. Miss the mad rush to the base and before the Calvert peeps come over to shop. I've literally waited 15 to 20 minutes for a break in traffic to get out of my road.

Only problem I had today was an effing full sized tractor trailer come in hot behind me turning onto St Andrews from 235. I had to wait for oncoming traffic before I could go. He had the Jake brake going and stopped maybe a foot behind me. Before I got to the transfer station, I turned on my blinker to give him plenty of notice that I was turning left. Again, he came in hot on my ass. I couldn't turn soon enough and he went around me on the shoulder. I wasn't sure he had enough room. My shoulders were all jacked up after that.

Later I was at sisters house and heard the helo, too.

If you crawl up my azz, I will slow down. If you wanted to be in front of me you should have left earlier. This is MY road too.

I don't mess with a full size tractor trailer. I witnessed one crash in my rearview mirror once. He swerved and hit the jersey wall and overturn two trailers he was hauling. Blocked all 4 SB lanes on the 101 in California. Scared the p out of me because he almost hit me. My poor little Zippy (Nissan Sentra) was able to speed up enough to get me out of that mess.

Also, my then bff was rear ended by one on an offramp. Totaled her car and effed up her back and neck.

No thank you.

I wouldn't mess with a tractor trailer either. Rest of the azzholes can bite me.

If Calvert would build some damn stores like a Lowes/Home Depot it would probably cut out quite a bit of the Calvert crowd.
