Yeah right ! LOL MDIA always let crap go, same with health dept. If you saw the sh*t I've seen over there you wouldn't be saying that!
I'm not looking at anybody else. Sir. I was speaking of traffic from Calvert. You can go anywhere you need to. What I said stands.

I've seen plenty here in St. Mary's. Other people's problems are not mine. I was smart and on top of my building. Kinda proud of myself.

I had to go into LPCity about noon today. By gate 1, 3 go-fast cars racing north. Came around both sides of me. Scary.

Pride before the fall, I believe the saying goes.

No fender benders in SM, every accident is a crash, a full wreck, usually flipped vehicles.
I can agree with that. I once came across a flipped vehicle on Pegg road, no other vehicles around except the one slowly teetering back and forth on its roof.

Achieved equal weight distribution on all four tires.

I hate 235 with a passion. Doesn't matter the time of day. People drive like lunatics. Unfortunately for me it's my only way out. Weekends I stay home. Best time to venture out is about 9 to 10 weekdays. Miss the mad rush to the base and before the Calvert peeps come over to shop. I've literally waited 15 to 20 minutes for a break in traffic to get out of my road.
I had someone pass me just past the merge onto northbound 5 at the end of St Andrew's. It's one lane until you get to 5. I was actually gunning it through the curve to beat the northward rush of cars because the light on northbound 5 had JUST TURNED GREEN and I didn't want them to push me out as I tried to merge.

The guy BEHIND ME would have none of that. He zoomed up behind me and overtook me once the lane widened enough.

Still beats the a-holes who pass me IN THE PARKING LOT.

There's actually a local FB group - Bay County Bad Drivers  People post dashcam vid of drivers being idiots.

But sorry, PCB and SoMD - the worst drivers I've ever experienced are in....Salt Lake City UT. :drummer: The whole week was like, "G-damn are you SERIOUS???"

In Boston they're aggressive but not reckless; if you're a timid driver don't even try but they are actually courteous....for a split second, so be paying attention and make your move. You're not cutting someone off, you're taking an opportunity to get over.

In SLUT it's like they're all on on hallucinogenics and are panic braking accordingly.

There is a local site here, too. I think it's called Southern Maryland Bad Drivers. Some of the comments are hilarious!

It may be the design of our secondary roads, lack of guard railing, or is it bad drivers? You go up north, you never see flipped cars like here.

I'm going with bad drivers. In most of these rollovers, there was no real reason for them to flip, other than hyper-over-reaction of the driver. Heck, some of these rollovers were at low speed. How does that happen?

A law that is broken all the time is people driving in the rain without their headlights on. I had business in PF last Friday and it was pouring down rain and I saw so many people with windshield wipers going full blast and no headlights. In fact, I almost pulled out in front of one of them! Who would have been at fault if they had hit me? Thankfully, I saw their (dark) car in time.
I learned to drive in Florida and it has always been a law there and IMO, it is a good law.

For your consideration ...

Just like the law that requires everyone crossing the Bay Bridge (Rt. 50) turn on their headlights regardless of the time, or condition, of the day, but no one ever does.

Ya'll were lucky you missed the car show in front of Hobby Lobby yesterday.
Bunch of idiots doing drive through spectating from their cars on the road in front of the parking lot! One even fully parked was sitting looking at the show!
