All kidding aside, I did once live in a small town - of about a thousand. We had our own police and fire department.
The mayor actually had an office, although he preferred to work from his home. "Work", because he was a physician and being mayor was barely more than a title with almost zero responsibilities, other than approve a budget.

Kamala did actually practice as an attorney, so she's not brain dead. But she has no "wits" about her - she can't comment on anything unless it's been handed to her, because she doesn't seem to have the chops to just use the space between her ears.

That said, I do know bright people like this - they have to read and write it down before they can comment on something. I am this way, most of the time. They make poor leaders. Others are fast on the draw, and if pressed on an issue, they have original thoughts on it. It's why I like pundits like Ben Shapiro and politicians like Ted Cruz - they think their own thoughts and they're quick on new issues.

Then we have the strata of politicians who really aren't more than a face and voice to represent the people writing for them. They're empty suits. They're HORRIBLE at being national leaders, because national leaders MUST MAKE DECISIONS others don't want to make at all. To lead a nation, you can't be asking permission from your handlers on what to say next.

Hit the road? Nope, unless the VP resigns or dies it takes impeachment to remove them.
Dump anyone in the cabinet? Yep, but the VP isn't an appointed cabinet member, they were elected just like the President, thus they can only be removed by impeachment.

Which is why, if the Republicans take the House (which they should) - this maneuver has no chance of working. They need an excuse for Kamala to be out before the next Congress is seated.

To my knowledge - the only other VP to leave office was John C. Calhoun (and I only know this because I remember when Agnew resigned). But unlike Agnew, who would otherwise would have been forcibly removed from office, Calhoun resigned more or less over very strong political differences with his President, who at the time was Jackson. (Calhoun was one of only two VPs to serve under two different Presidents).

He never got along with either of them; with John Q. Adams, he'd been a competitor in that election, which was eventually resolved in Congress. Jackson he supported - briefly - until he actually had to govern along with him.

I don't know what idiot stunt they will have to pull to get her out of office - they can't pull of Mueller investigation stunt where she is accused of a made up crime to push her out - the party will never tolerate the first woman VP being shamed out of office. They will likely make her an offer - the latest story is they will offer her a spot on the Supreme Court, which I think has about a snowball's chance in hell.

The disaster of their own creation has bit them in the ass, and now it's bringing down the entire party.

They need to have moderates; they need to STOP capitulating to the left before it breaks the party completely. They need SOME force to hold their ass to the flames, because right now with a largely kiss ass press, they have no motivation to stop the carnage.

Well of course Camel Toe isn't bringing them down all by herself.
The President sucks, his wife is a moron as First Lady and we also have Chuck the Schmuck and Pelosi as the Kings fools.
The Democrats have thoroughly made a mess of everything they have touched.
One day when things get really tough for Vice President she will say they are wanting to get rid of her because she is black.
It's coming as sure as the sun rises in the East.
