on a push mower. How do you do it?
On my Lawnboy, I had to remove the motor cover/gas tank, then remove the primer bulb and primer fitting from underneath (snap fitting) and then simply reverse the process to reinstall. Took longer to get the tank off than it did to do the primer replacement.
What type of motor, B&S, Tecumseh, etc. or mower make?
The bulb should be held in with a plastic clip ring. Squeeze the clip releases and remove the ring, the bulb should then easily come out of the housing and can be replaced.Murray 3.5 HP w/ Briggs & Stratton engine.
Get one with a Briggs or Honda engine. NOT a Tecumseh motor. That's how I changed out mine. My mower is has lost alot of it's power though. Would like to get a new one but i'm kind of cheap. any suggestions for a self propelled model if I do get a new one?
