Reporter gets beat!

...and idiot award for not defending himself? He was in a hostile situation, the woman on the edge, tension high, adrenaline flooding everyones system, then, here comes the husband, aggressively marching up to him and he, the reporter does what? Waits to be hit.

I'm not sure if the husband had a weapon or not but the reporter was awful bloody for what looks like a rather wild strike across his face. What if he had a weapon, a knife? A pen? He could have stabbed him in the eye, the throat, etc.

Maybe it's brave to sit there and take it knowing that it's being taped and you wanna look good as the diligent reporter attacked by maniacs but brave and stupid aren't that far apart.

People across the country are talking about this, and it made all the big news shows. Instant fame.

If the guy had defended himself, the story wouldn't have made it out of San Diego.

Remember, this is show business. If it was news, he wouldn't have been there in the first place.
