This is interesting to me, because I've been thinking the same thing. Donald's been talking about it awhile - someone has asked him about this a couple of times- I think it was Hannity. Anyway, for the reasons you stated, I would be for Donald, but I would like to know more about some of his policy stances, too.
He's definitely gotten somewhere in his life by doing something right! And he's raising some decent kids, too.

Now true--- his wives did not have Cancer, but does that mean he is any less slime than Edwards?

Yes: The name carries with it thoughts of riches and fame ( by the way he rents out the name to others for it's value).Many developers pay Donald Trump to market their properties and be the public face for their projects. For that reason, Trump does not own many of the buildings that display his name. According to Forbes, this portion of Trump's empire, actually run by his children, is by far his most valuable with a valuation of $562 million. According to Forbes, there are 33 licensing projects under development including seven "condo hotels" (i.e. The seven Trump International Hotel and Tower developments).

IMO he is as slimy as Edwards, and is little more than a rich shyster.
I believe the skeletons in his closet and his background as it is publicised would make him unelectable.
At first glance he might look good, after investigation, I do not believe many people would back him.
WTH, I could be wrong, many of us knew what Obama was and were not quiet about it, and he got elected.
