I remember reading that before, if I remember right your dog came out ok.

He did. He was down and out for over 2 weeks. He wouldn't even go outside by himself for a long time after that. One of us had to go with him. It was pitiful.

I know a couple of really sweet Pits but frankly do not trust them entirely...

We read all the time about a sweet pitbull suddenly ripping someone's face off. Calvert county had a bunch of them a few months apart. For me pitties are the canine equivalent of a mine field. Mostly passive, but make 1 wrong move and BOOOOOM.

My dog is also old and lazy, but loves everyone. Only for a little bit though then it's, yeah, that's enough humans for awhile....
