Thanks for all the info. I'm not that with the legal system 'cause I've never had to deal with it before. There's no violence involve, just a couple of adults harrassing and threatening(blackmailing some minors). I have confronted the adults before but they act more childish that the kids themselves.
What a bunch of freaks. Call the cops and ask what they suggest you do. It may be as simple as them sending over a Deputy to have a talk with these "adults".

And here I thought for sure you had an ex-boyfriend with nudies pics of you.

I can give a quick tutorial on those too.

A No Trespass Order can be obtained from the SO 24-7. In order to serve one person, you'll be given two copies of the form. Fill them out identically. One is for you to keep and the other is for you to serve. You need to note the date and time of service on your copy. This is very important. If the person trespasses on the property again, when the deputy responds out s/he will need to see your copy w/ the date & time of service.

NOW, for methods of service YOU have several options. Note I said YOU. At this point, it's an entirely civil matter and the SO generally does not get involved.

1. You can hand the person the No Trespass Order. Easy squeezy. Even if the person wads it up and throws it @ your feet, it's considered served.
2. You can have a non-interested third party serve the No Trespass Order.
3. You can mail it Certified Return Receipt. When the postcard is returned to you, staple it to your copy.

Let me clarify some things. I'm the father of the minor. Her boyfriend's parents does not approved of the relationship and sent their child away. Now, a couple of weeks ago, somebody egged their house and they called me accusing my daughter and her female friend as the culprit, which is flat out false. During the conversation they threatened to distribute my daughter's picture that she sent to his BF's cellphone (which is not really pornographic and doesn't show any private parts) but they just want to project a bad image for my daughter. Then last weekend, my daugther and a couple of her friends were eating at IHOP when the waitress seated the couple next to them. The guy immediately confronted her male friend and accused him of calling the cops on them (separate incident) and continue to berate him for being gay.

I'm afraid my daughter can't act mature the next time this happened and do something that would get her in trouble.

I still don't understand, but at least I know now that you're a guy.

You have a daughter.
Your daughter had this boyfriend.
The BF's parents don't like your daughter.
Parents sent the BF away.
Someone egged their house, and they think it was your daughter.
The parents have also threatened to publish photos of your daughter, taken from her BF's camera phone.
They confronted her and her new BF at IHOP, making accusations to him and calling him "gay".

Is that about right?

Obtaining a protective order

PJumper said:
How do you secure a restraining order against somebody? Can the restraining order prohibit distribution of digital materials?

Protective orders are meant to protect people, not property. In order for it to be granted, your situation has to meet one of the following criteria:

An act that caused serious bodily harm
An act that placed the petitioner in fear of imminent bodily harm
Assault in any degree
rape of sexual offense
attempted rape or sexual offense

If you wish to obtain one, you have two options: During court hours go to the district court clerks office. After hours, see the court commissioner in the detention center (St. Mary's) or at the district court in Calvert (bottom floor).

If I were you, I would talk this issue over with a lawyer.

What bad image can they project of your daughter if it wasnt pornographic? She obviously was doing something trashy in that picture otherwise a threat wouldn't have been made.
