Are you referring to Black people? Because all the mask fetishists I saw (and still see occasionally) were white - like, ALL of them. I never got a sense that Black people glommed onto the hysteria like white people did, unless they were Democrat operatives being paid to push an agenda.

In the stores here there are quite a few people still wearing masks, but almost all of the ones I see wearing them are black.

That's my observation too. A few elderly white, but the majority of people masked in stores are black.
There could be some social benefit we're missing. The ones I see on the Subway and Fed Buildings are too.
Of course it could just be that they're all worthless, braindead democrats too.
I wonder why. Because here and other places I was during the Great Panic, Black people were more likely to be giving the finger to mask demands in stores, etc. And of course the white manager was terrified to confront them, even if it was some elderly lady or college kid.
Here now it's extremely rare to see anyone in a mask. Occasionally at Pier Park or one of the other tourist meccas you'll see a masked up white family and I always wonder where they came from.

BTW. Seeing as you are mostly anti-establishment, (not a criticism), why is it that you capitalize the world black? [If you are doing that, why not capitalize the word white as well]? Doing this goes against everything we have been taught regarding the written English language. Such as capitalizing for the first word in a sentence, and for a person, place, or thing. It seems as if you have succumbed to the lefts wokeness.

To differentiate the ethnicity from the color, and also just because. I also frequently capitalize the W when referring to White people, but mostly not....just because.
If that offends you, you'll have to get over it at some point. Or not, makes no difference to me.

See I don't know if you're talking about people here or color.
In the local area there are very few wearing masks. Across the bridge, when I see someone wearing a mask, half the time it's someone black. And there aren't that many blacks in this area. I would say as a percentage black mask usage if over represented.

Don't forget they control the airwaves and our television. Essentially the big media is bought and paid for. I never expected our great Nation would become a Socialist Country. But, all a person has to do is look around. Most Democrats will ignore it. That is so long as they continue to get their free everything and or their legalized drugs to keep them high instead of the ability to think clearly of what is about to hit everyone pretty hard in the future. Even our Colleges and Universities have become "Indoc Centers". Our Colleges and Universities have a massive influx of Chinese Nationals that have a dual purpose. Do you think they are there become a good citizen of our Country or to use what they learn for good purposes? I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say perhaps some are. But even if 10% are there to cause our Country harm, we let them walk right in and not only that, we let them take advantage of our legal system when it comes to not discriminating against other races as in the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling.Yeah, see, I'd like to believe this whole covid cult thing is a cautionary tale against believing everything Democrats tell you but there are people out there right now who are still masked up and begging for another shot.

Not offended at all. However, after reading your posts over the years, I've never taken you to be one to jump on the PC bandwagon. Prior to the "journalistic" PC change to capitalizing black, black was never capitalized except when properly needed. It started back in 2020, coincidentally, right after George Floyd's death.

As a general rule I am respectful of people until they give me a reason not to be. Has nothing to do with PC.
